Scorched#Daily Prompt#Attempt2
<a href="https://dailypost.wordpress.com/prompts/s
Her warm heart
Accepted defeat
But its burning heat
Which was meant to
Spread love and smiles
Has now Scorched
Her own flowers
Of inner peace
With its flames
Burning the leaves
Of her happiness
Black as coal
And
Turning the buds of
Her dreams and desires
Into ashes
The bouquet of
Her valuable years
Is burning
And she is watching
With
Blank eyes
And mute mind
Her Scorched life
Candle of fire, burning sweet,
nothing like being burned to the stake!

Hi Meenakshi
I have a favour to ask of you. If it’s not too much of a trouble, could you kindly email me a screenshot of the display when you click my blog link? The WordPress customer service just got back to me asking for the same.
My email address is divyarao56@gmail.com
Your help will be much appreciated:) Thanks😊

Really, it’ is the worst experience that we have when our hearts full of love gets defeated by someone whom we have believed to be ours.

This is so powerful, Ma’m… the emotions have been potrayed so well… she was defeated. By what? As a reader we can think of many options. But what did the lovely writer have in mind?

Thank You so much! Defeated by all those whom she tbought were her own…
Defeated by her dyeing dreams
Defeated by her own self in keeping everyone happy when she killed a part of herself somewhere…

Somehow it sounds like the struggles of a middle aged family woman to me. I don’t know why.
