Bewildered# daily prompt # season 4# attempt 99
Cool breeze playing with hair strands
Eyes lost in visualizing past
Heart is numb with mixed emotions
Bewildered mind still trying to find
Answers to never asked questions
Whom she is denying?
Is it death or life?
Death of most precious loved ones
Death of loving relations
Death of trust, faith and hopes.
Or
Life that she is living
Life that she could live
Life that is calling her
Cool breeze touching her skin
Gives shiver
Thoughts arising inside do the same
She holds open ends of jacket more tight
As if trying to hold two ends of life
Trying to fight the cold
Feels warmth for a few seconds
Then realize how could she fight?
The dead cold inside
And let the breeze and thoughts
Wander all over her…

The dead cold inside- it’s difficult to fight that off, indeed…

It’s pretty hard to fight when it’s freezing cold inside. It seems like there is a choice of answering the call of life.

It is hard when we know we have to accept certain situations and can’t reverse it.
Thank You for reading Miriam!

I know, Meenakshi. It’s century old saying that we have no choice of which country and into which family we were born. We only have limited choices!

The gap inside our hearts and souls are like the dead cold plaguing existence and soul. What an interpretation!
