From All Ties

Cavity# daily prompt # season 4# attempt 91

The hole in my heart
When I was a kid
Got filled and I lived
To surprise of my parents
“She is brave”,
Declared the doctor
A smile came on everyone’s face!

But little I knew at that time
That life took words of doc
That seriously
And kept sending
Punch after punch
To test
My strength!

The cavity of my chest
Have a beating organ inside
Though there is no hole in it now
But a great vacumn is coming
Unable to be filled
Even with my strength
No matter how bravely I try!

“Where is that doc?”
I asked everyone
I need some pills
Or maybe surgery
To remove this vacumn
To fill this emptiness
Once again defeating the dark!

“The doc is inside you”,
Told a voice
Coming from the hollow
Alongwith a light
Soothing and bright
“You don’t need any pill
Or surgery, dear child”!

“You are same brave girl,
Who defeated death
At age of five
You are still capable
Of weaving that magic
Just trust, the universe
And divine!”

So once again with my faith
I will walk knowing well
No one is alone here
We all are under his protection
His healing hands
Will be there always with us
We can never be abandoned
By that loving light!

This vacumn would vanish
This loneliness will be cured
This heart will get strength
This life will be healed
This soul will be free
From all pains, from all ties!

From all ties is best title you have given. The last two paras are for a positive come back. I loved to read.
    The Para
    “This vacuum would vanish
    This loneliness will be cured
    This heart will get strength
    This life will be healed
    This soul will be free
From all pains, from all ties!”

    These are wonderful lines.
