Long Drives

Undulate# daily prompt # season 4# attempt 71

Those days and long holidays…
Those road trips on highways

With roads unending
Along the curves smoothly bending

Wheat fields both sides undulate in breeze
Kids playing there around the trees

At every few kilometres changing scenes
From grey to brown and somewhere green

Headphones and songs
With someone special in thoughts

Those tea stalls at roadsides
Long journeys, happy we with genuine smiles

Those short breaks before reaching destination
Enjoying every minute with so much passion

My heart crave for more such drives
That can go on and on till goes life…

  1. Beautiful work! Thank you so much for visiting and following my blog. I will catch up on yours properly when I do my monthly look at the blogs of new followers – I know I am in for a treat! In the meantime, I bid you welcome to my half baked world and hope I won’t disappoint you. Warmest wishes, Osyth 🌺
