Old soft Grannies and their weaves
Did they use to Knit magic?
While moving their expertise fingers
Across the yarn or fabric
Or
Were they aware; they are spreading love
From roots towards branches
In their loving families
Along with knitting,
They used to tell stories
Of knights and Princess
Of dragons and beasts
Stuffing little minds with curiosity
Giving them power to dream

I love it, Meenakshi. Grannies weaving, spreading love and telling stories. It reminds me of the first scarf I tried to knit for my daughter. I made it too wide, But she used it as a shawl…

This bring old memories…my grandma even let me try even though I was not much help and after that she will fix all weaves from my end. She believed trying is the most important thing.
