When words flow like a river
Then they create some new poem
Coming out from lanes of heart
When they mould into emotions
Rushing through eyes
They create some new poem
When words flow like a river
Coming out from all corners
Rushing like a mad river
Breaking away all restrictions
They create some new poem
When words flow like a river
These are not mere words
They are years old repressed voices
When they open their sealed lips
They create some new poem
When words flow like a river
Let these words flow out
Let them get rid of burden
When they want to flush out pain
They create some new poem
When words flow like a river
To express the burried emotions
To break the lonliness
Which they can bear no more
They create some new poem
When words flow like a river
In its flow there is long night hidden
Deep, bitter and black secrets
Merge in ocean with all of them
They create some new poem
When words flow like a river

Wow! I haven’t written any poetry in hindi yet, but Meenakshi, after reading this one, I am regretting not giving it a try. Its beautiful. And just brilliantly translated too! Well done!

You’re welcome, dear! Actually I can’t write in pure hindi. I am not so good at it. But whenever I’ll write one, I’ll definitely let you know.😇

अत्यंत प्रभावशाली रचना, कविता की उत्पत्ति से संदर्भित काव्यात्मक भावोक्ति…. अद्भुत …

Read only the Hindi & liked it IMMENSELY . Did not even looked at the translation as it might spoil the impact of the Hindi poem.

In a national news agency where I worked, I met a senior, a Bihari. When I met him next in a party convention I was covering, he had a Kannada book by Maasti Venkatesh Iyengar (Gnanpeeth award winner), When asked he said he read one story by Maasti and was so impressed by it, he learnt Kannada to read the author;s original writing. Some translations are good, but rarely do they equaal the origingal.

Wow!! That’s really great to learn a language just to read the author!!

Can’t agree more
Original is always best Sir
Essence of emotions are lost in translation
Very few translation justify the depth of emotions.
