Survive#Daily Prompt #Season 2#Attempt 73
Once I was hush green
Living with a big family
Time played with us
We all lost each other
Some in wind
Some with rain
We all got drained
In last days of my life
I may look lonely and dry
But I’m the brave one
To Survive and
Make it till end…

This is so relatable and describes what most of us go through as we all grow up and unfortunately grow apart sometimes. But like you said, we will survive! Thanks for sharing!

What do you do other than writing blog..because you almost write three to four posts daily that too with beautiful lines
LikeLiked by 1 person
Hi!
Haha…no I don’t post two to three posts daily. That happens seldom. O attempt daily prompt taking it as a challenge to write daily.
I’m a full time home maker, a devoted mother, a teacher teaching at my home in evening and yes a poet! βΊ

Very modernised writing style of composing a beautiful poetry. Loving the word choice that you have and the peculiar vogue that you have to present yourself gracefully in words of lines and stanzas. Hope to see more from you. Have hope, write on!

Yes, I did a poem early in my blog, inspired by my hibiscus tree that has beautiful flowers, but the flowers live only one day!

The photo is tailor-made for the post!!
Using the dried leaf to reflect old age highlights how lonely and sad it is for the elderly to survive.
Watching your friends, relatives or spouse go, while kids get busy with their lives is saddening indeed.
More so if they are dependent on others!!
Nice and deep post Meenakshi π

Thank You so much Cherry!
The picture itself inspired me to write these lines while going through the blog of Paul Militaru who is one of the talented photographer whose work I admire a lot
Yes, you are right, old age leaves many helpless and lonely. Yesterday itself one of an old neighbour called me and told her sad story and how she is praying for her death due to inhuman behavior of her sons and their wives.
Sometimes situations leave us helpless. She used to be a very strong lady when I was a kid. See how life changes.
