And Peace Descends

Descend#Daily Prompt #Season 2#Attempt 68

When–
The sun melts
To cool itself and
Descend in western ocean
Near horizon!

When–
The night staff is getting ready
To join duty
With full team
Under moon’s leadership

When–
The stars switch on
Their light
To fight the dark
Even before it descends

When–
Birds start moving towards their nests
And from day
We all steps towards night
To take some rest

Then–
It happens…
Memories start descending
With lyrics of song that I listen
During my walk

While–
Leaving protection of my home
Walking fast to burn some calories
Along with all those memories
As if I can!

So–
I increase my pace
To shed some weight of body and thoughts
But just in vain
As they both return back

So-
I say my hello to star lit sky
Remembering when night grows dark
That’s the time
Star shine even more bright

And-
I end my walk at this time
Surrendering the inner fight
Enjoying just lyrics
Along good music of life

Finally-
I smile to myself
And go back inside
In protection of my home
Towards my reality zone!

And–
Peace descends
Inside my heart
To last till I could recharge it on…
My next evening walk!
