Gates Without Walls

Temporary#Daily Prompt #Season 2#Attempt 57

Averting my eyes
Trying to curve lips
In shape of a smile
Every time I try
Or think I could…
Brush up and
Blow away in air
These mental tortures
Closing the Temporary gates
Though they are
Not strong enough
To keep at bay, these
Permanent sufferings
But give me an illusion of
Security or comfort
That I’m safe behind these gates
What I deliberately ignore is
That without any walls
They are just useless!
